Anyway Looking for good PS considering Antec true 480w

    or this Ernmax 470w
    http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-103-446&depa=0
I like the Enrmax, the sata connects, and the fan that will run for 2min after ya power off, but the Antec appears to have more real power??

Anyone running either of these two, or have any comments?
I also looking for resent reviews on PS's.
Does any one reccomend any others?
Prefer to not spend more than $100.00.
    Thanks

i'd avoid the enermax, since their stuff is known to be flaky. You might want to consider this one: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=17-104-968&depa=0

the fortron isn't really a well known company for power supplies, but their ratings are at 70% maximum load. they also make power supplies for hospitals, so you can expect pure reliability from them. i use that same power supply for my 2.8E @3600mhz and x800 setup, and under load, the 12v rail is never below 11.98 on my multimeter.

good choice, Fortron is a very underatted PSU maker

@Asus, dont let the sata power connectors sway you for a long term PSU. they will soon disappear. A SATA hard drive is to not NEED a direct connection to the PSU at all. when Motherboard manufacturers finally decide to incorporate SATA the way its meant to be, there will be 1 cable connecting botht the power and data channel of an SATA drive to the motherboard, which will draw its power from an extra motherboard PSU connector.

you cant go wrong with Antec, though enermax is not bad. if you have money, go PC Power & Cooling. or--if you dont mind a 90day warranty, you can get a refurb PC Power & Cooling for relatively cheap.
