Looking for new screen

Hi,
I've actually got a physically broken laptop screen here.

The model number is HSD100IFW1 Rev. 0 -F03
The laptop is an ASUS Eee PC1005p

Now, i'm really confused as to what replacement screen to buy,
as I can find a lot of different offers as replacements.
strangely, I can pick between 10", 10.1" and 10.2"

according to this website the screen size is:
10.2"
8.86"x5.28"
resolution: WSVGA? 1024x600

I want to find the most valuable screen. I live in Australia, am a student and am planning on buying it from Ebay.
Can anyone tell me what I should look for when buying?

Should I just look for something matching 1024x600, 8.86"x5.28"
with 30 pin connector.

The connection is middle/bottom right.

Hi,
Take your screen out and measure diagonally to get the correct size,check the screen for any seriels and use these in the search for a replacement.

my research came up with this match on ebay.uk....

they will post worldwide, I couldn't find a match on the OZ site.

I've already taken the screen out. and when I look for a screen replacement they are all different sizes. I just measured the screen size and it's 10.2". However the replacement iain.t found for me, which has exactly the same model number is advertised as 10.0"

how does that work?

It is especially difficult to find a replacement screen because when I look for HSD100IFW1 F03 the websites google returns all say the replacement for this screen is 10.2"
also does it matter what the revision of the laptop is?
or will any screen that says HSD100IFW1 be sufficient?

Thanks for the referral to the Eee forum. I registered there and asked some questions.

I do actually have a 1015p model. (I checked in cmd->systeminfo came back saying System Model 1015p.)
This is the one I have.


and I always meant HSD100IFW1 is the screen model not the laptop model. (also in the list look there is also 1015p, it doesn't show any screen information however.)
