Looking for partition advice?

I have the following setup on all my computers; C: partition is reserved for Windows XP/SP3 and program files, while I use a second (logical) partition, say X:, for all my data and also to store Acronis True Image Home backups of C:.

On my HP Pavilion Desktop I also had a hidden 'HP Recovery' partition that was taking up 20GB if hard disk space while serving no useful purpose as far as I could tell (given that I had Acronis installed).

So I used Acronis Disk Director Suite to wipe the partition and to add it to X: later on. However, right after the wiping, my computer refused to boot, so I had to use Acronis to recover the reserved boot sectors on that partition (~8MB of data, the rest I added to my logical partition).

The computer boots up fine now, but Acronis, EASEUS and Norton Partition programs all see it slightly differently, and Window's ChkDsk also doesn't get it. I've attached pics of how each program displays the partition, I need advice where to go from here. Should I hide the 8MB partition, or is there a way to merge it to C: - it's just something the computer wants for booting.

I've had some system stability problems recently, so this might be one of the contributing issues. I'd like to fix it so that ChkDsk isn't confused, and that all of the partition programs see the partition the same way (or at least same size/type).

The ChkDsk report can be found attached to my initial post in this thread: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=175573

p.s. I have backups of the original partition and can always go back to that, but why waste 20GB when my system was crashing anyway.
