Looking for Photo Scanning Software.

    Hey

    I have a HP psc 1350 all-in-one printer/scanner. Basically the software that came with it is really bad and when i go to scan it says cant find scanner. I have installed the software several times and it still doesnt work.

    But what i want to know if there is any other software out there that i can use?

    Try the Scanner & camera scanner in the start menu. If that doesn't pick it up then there must be a driver issue.

    I have been using VueScan for years and it is simply terrific. Very easy to use. Works with hundreds of scanners. Give it a try. You won't be sorry. You can find it at www.hamrick.com

    Is your MB capable of USB 2.0? Many scanners and printers require this.

    If your MB is not capable of this, then you will need to get an add-on card for it.

    IIRC and I have a PSC**** ( cannot remember number as I'm not at home to check ) but I had similar issue with the HP all in one and needed to update the drivers from HP, to cure this.

    will check when at home as to what I did, but do check out the latest drivers if available for your All in One.


    as mentioned above is your USB version 2.0 and also have you installed your Mobo drivers as they are needed to fully support USB2.0 ( check Device Manager for any yellow ! marks against USB devices )
