Looking for rare (nonexistent?) Core 2 Duo motherboard

I have a Full Tower case, and my system is already built with a Core 2 Duo E6600. I had ordered another E6600 for a client who backed out, and now I'm stuck with the bill.

Instead of building another system with the leftover CPU, I am thinking about using it in my existing system IF I can find a dual-processor motherboard which supports Core 2 Duo processors.

I have looked all over, and most of the mobos are for Xeon CPU's. Please let me know if you are aware of a motherboard which fits the bill.

How much you are willing to pay?

 

I am willing to buy a new case and PSU, if it means I will have a dual-processor motherboard made for Core 2 Duo E6600's. I can spend about $350 on the mobo and $200 on the Case+PSU

I am looking for a motherboard which supports two Core2Duo processors simultaneously, much like the Xeon motherboards can support more than one Xeon processor.

 

Im not sure what you mean a motherboard that can hold 2 duo core processors E6600 I never saw one before,but This is the power supply and Motherbaord I would get for your cpu..

a motherboard that supports Xeon 3000 line, they are both conroe core, it might detect the CPU wrong, a call to intel would help I would imagine to make sure the Core2 Duo can run multi processor

 

Yeh I think the best thing is to contact Intel via email or throw phone and ask them for your special Mobo bobo

Thank you all for your help , but it seems like I will either have to sell it (I've been trying to unload it for $300 on CraigsList for 2 months now) OR spend more money on building a system I don't really need.

Besides selling it, I'm guessing it's best to hold onto it until component prices drop even further, and make a Linux/Media Center PC.
