    Greetings All,

    New user here.

The good news :): I have a JVC Digital Video Camera. Model GR-DVL520U that is virtually new.

The bad news :(: I need to get my hands on the software for this camera.

Even worse news  I'm running Vista. As far as I can tell, the original software was for 32 bit systems vs my 64 bit.

The question : Where can I get my hands on the software for this camera for my OS? Any help would be super appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Bob

    Hi Bob

Is it the drivers you are after for the video editing software that comes with this camera, if the latter then x64 OS Windows versions in the majority of cases will run the software from x86 (32bit) fine, just may need to not allow the Autorun installer to install the software if off CD but open the CD and find the Setup.exe file.

When you plug this camera into Vista x64, what happens, does the camera get recognised and a driver install or does the installer ask for a CD or File? (asking as many devices are found in the Windows driver database and they install mass drivers that allow you to connect to the camera and like a portable drive access the data/video)
