Looking for something like "Web Control"

I've been running Outpost Firewall Pro for the last year or so and it's been great. One of my favorite features is something called "Web Control."

This feature allows you to create profiles for certain websites and block ads, popups, scripts, java elements, etc...

This is very helpful because there are a couple of scene sites I visit that inundate your with popups and scripts trying to install various items. This Web Control option blocks all of these types of elements, reducing the site down to just the basic text and images. Very useful!

However, my Outpost is expired and I've gone with a different Security Suite.

Does anyone know of a stand alone program, similar to this Web Control feature, that I can use to create profiles for sites to render their ads and popups inactive?

You could use Firefox, if you don't already and install No-Script and AdBlocker Plus.

I do use Firefox but only for certain things.
