Looking For The Best Pc For Our Designing Team.

Hi there, we are looking for new PCs that are able to smoothly design logo for our companies website. The software’s the designers use include Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator. My company has told me to spend around 2000$ for 2 high end PCs. So my question is what specification should I go for when looking for PCs to run these software’s? Also is it better if I buy few laptops as a lot of people have been thinking about working from home?

 

There are so many choices. LOTS of Ram, High end video card (Not a gamer card), Fast CPU all good if building your own. My advice would be to ask your team what they want. They will be the ones using them, and "may" have a good idea of where to start. The people in the design field I know, use Macs, or a PC with Mac OS on it. That may not be so necessary anymore, I don't know.

 

I prefer desktops with lots of CPU, power, RAM potential. Be sure to check the upgrade potential of whatever you look at. Now, if you go laptops MAKE CERTAIN you spend adequately for a nice monitor. DO NOT try to work on logos and graphic design without an external mouse and monitor. I do logo work also, along with much CAD and 3D. Occasional touch up on a laptop, on designs already far along is okay, but going from scratch the most important thing is visibility and a mouse with great control. MONITOR. Make certain the laptops have plenty of room to upgrade in the future. The options out there for all your're asking for are absolutely limitless that's why I won't go into specific choice suggestions.
