looking to purchase memory

    I forgot, but my friend told me longtime ago that when i buy memory, to also remember the

    Cas Latency 4
    Timing 4-4-4-15

    and 4-4-4 sopose to be bad?

    can someone remind me what cas latency and timing is the BEST in memory sticks.

    I'm by no means a RAM expert, but I believe that most newer MB's allow you tweak the latencies so the 'built-in' latencies aren't all that important (unless your MB doesn't allow you to change the settings). Also, I don't think there is a BEST set of latencies; I think it depends on your MB and CPU, and maybe even the speed of your video card's RAM.... but then again, I don't really know what I'm talking about ;) I'm sure another MG will come along with better and more accurate info than I offered.....
