i have a dell XPS GEN 3 and it has the BIOS from august 2004. A02

I am getting a Sentinel low power error and i read that this has a small chance of fixing it.

i did also read somewhere that doing that could speed your system up, is it worth it? what are the chances i can update Dell's Nazi system?

As for BIOS updates You could visit Dell support pages
Here's I think the last Bios update for your model?
    Errr the link http://support.us.dell.com/support/...eid=R100015&formatcnt=1&libid=0&fileid=129398
If you scroll down the page it tells you the Fixes and Enhancements for that particular version "A06"

Your current is A02, so there's a few more between your's and the latest
You can look up the others & read on each particular fixes

You'll also see direction's for Installing a Bios update
