    Greetings,

I am having problems with my Verizon DSL connection. I have intermittent problems connecting to websites, always having "looking up..." timeouts in Firefox, and similar errors in IE.

I have a Westell ADSL2+ modem plugged into a Netgear WGR614 v5 Wireless router. I am using a wired connection. My router is set to 192.168.1.1, and my DSL router is set to 192.168.0.1. I can connect to the router properly, though the router's page is horribly slow to load in Firefox.

When the Internet does not work, I try running tracert, and it fails entirely.

I'm using a Dell Dimension C521 with Windows XP Home Edition, SP3.

I know it isn't much to work with, but I am unsure as to how to proceed. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
