Lost 2nd cd-rom drive

    Lost 2nd cd-rom drive in bios---How do I get it back? Running XP Operating System.

    Have you tried removing it & rebooting? Have you recently installed or removed any programs?

    Could really use some System Specs. Please read this topic.

    Don't know when I lost it as it is a burner and haven't used it in a couple weeks. No, I haven't physically removed it and re booted and then reinstalled and rebooted.That is next if it won't come back any other way.
