My father bought a new laptop recently and to save his files from his old computer...he burned all of his data onto a few CD-R discs. He has apparently had no problem getting the data from these discs onto his new computer except one disc. He opened one month ago that contained just 3 Microsoft Word Documents. He was able to open them and work on them. However, when he went to work on them again last night his computer only has .lnk files to them with the source being the disc and the disc he has is no longer showing any files at all on it. Is there any way he can get this info back?

    Hello,
You can try scanning the CD with Minitools Power Data Recover (free for home use).
