Hi everyone . This is my first time here , I hope I do this right.
Today when I tried to print documents in MW and Word pad. I received this message "unable to find file "
    C:\\windows\windows\system32\spool\driver\w32x86\3\hpzbxo5.exe
Microsoft Word needs this file to print.I even restored back two days , it was working fine then.
You can probably guess I am using HP Printer. psc 2210 multifunction
Windows Xp {with all the updtes and Sp2} Hp Pavillion 725n lots of free space.I was wondering if i can use something to find my lost file ?
I re-installed my drivers but no luck. I even printed a test page just fine. It seems to be word documents i am having a problem with .HELP PLease..Mum:  eek:

Seems as if you haev a corrupted file or driver install, did you goto the location ( C:\windows\windows\system32\spool\driver\w32x86\3\ ) of that file and see if its there?

    What I would do in this instance is one of two things;

    1. Backup any new files you have saved, or better still backup all important documents, files etc and use System Restore to set th esystem back to the nearest date before this happened.

    2. If you dont want to do the above then follow this guide from HP in fulling uninstalling the printer drivers and using the cleaner they specify in removing any left over files, then re-install your drivers.

    Uninstall procedure

    Re: Question

    Hi

Dont know if you wish to do this with free software or not, but their is not much freely available PDF editors around that I know of, Acrobat Pro is the better option to edit PDFs using the Touchup Text Tool, or converting back to txt or doc formats then editing the text and re-creating the PDF.

One option and I dont use this software as I am lucky to have Acrobat Pro, is to use this free software to convert the PDF back to Doc format, edit it and then recreate the PDF http://www.majorgeeks.com/Pdf995_d4511.html < I would be trying this one and convert back to Doc format then edit and recreate the PDF after editing.

a paid appliction to edit PDFs apart form Acrobat is this one http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/pe_intro.php ( this is not the free Foxit reader available on Majorgeeks but the $99 editor, which is alot better than the $449 retail price of Acrobat Pro 7.. even tho Pro 8 is due anytime now at same price ) there is a free trial but they dont say if its limited in what it can do.

note: any of the above editors including Acrobat, will only edit a PDF document if it was not had any passwords added to the security properties of the document to prevent the likes of print/copy/edit etc

    Re: Question

Thank you for your help. I will check on the Acrobat Pro. I don't mind the cost. I thought there may be a version that I would not have to keep coverting back to the original document etc..
Many thanks once again .. Mum

Another question . I wondered if there is a way to create a Boot Disc for Windows XP Home edition {OEM} NOT to a floppy but maybe to a cd instead. If so where and how ?/
