Lost folder icons in Windows Explorer - Win XP Pro

I am not sure what I did, but I lost the folder icons in Windows Explorer in Windows XP Pro. All I see is text. It is very difficult to navigate without the usual graphics to indicate folders and subfolders. Any ideas on how to restore the folder icons?

Thanks for the tip. However, it did not work.

If you open Windows Explorer and look at the panel of the left, there are no folder icons. If you look at the panel on the right there are folder icons. The panel on the left is labeled "Folders". It only has + or - to indicate a folder. My other computer with Windows XP has folder icons in both panels.

This is annoying that I can't figure it out.

Bingo! That is it. XP is D. I had 98SE on C and I removed that drive.
