Yesterday for the first time I tried to access the bays in my Antec Sonata II case. It was only at this time that I realized this required a key, which of course I have misplaced.

Has anyone had a similar experience or have a suggestion. I would really like to access the guts of my machine.

    Thanks.

(Note: Before I get replies like "Well, what did you think the keys were for?", I took off the front door that requires the key and consequently didn't think I would need them for anything else)

If the lock is simular to a Thermal Take Soprano case, it should be pretty easy to get open with a paper clip or similar tool. If that does not work, contact Antec and see about getting a replacement key, or take the computer to a locksmith. They should be able to get it open for you and even make you a key for a few $'s.

All I can suggest is either trying some other keys to see if they fit, and work, or have a go at picking the lock.
Can you post a picture of the lock ?

My guess would be that it's unlikely to be a difficult one to unlock, given a bit of time, patience and a suitable bit of wire, miniature screwdriver, or whatever fits.

I've found that half of a small pair of scissors is often good for this.
