    Help,

I recently had to go away on business ..either I forgot my logon password or someone in my home while I was gone changed it. Can someone please help me with problem or suggest what I can do to correct it.

If you mean you lost the Administrator Logon...

This site might just help you out here: Forgot the Administrator's Password?

This webpage answers the following questions:
    (1) How can I gain access to a Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 computer if I forgot the administrator's password? (2) How can I reset the administrator's password if I forgot it?

Note: Be sure to print out a "Copy" that webpage - using another computer, of course - in order the retain the contained step-by-step description of the initial "repair" process [to save and refer to later]

If you mean that you cannot log on to a particular USER because someone changed the password - you can log on as any user with Admin privileges. To do this: In the Start menu's Run dialog, enter contro userpasswords2. Select the Administrator account and set the password to what you wish.

    Good Luck!
