    Hi

I woke up this morning to find that my pc had lost one of the three partitions on it; system showing that it is unformatted.

I tried using LinuxMint, but that failed to access the partition as well and I used TestDisk, but that also failed to fix the problem.

No backup, but I was able to see that the files were still there by using a program that I need to buy in order to move those same files, but being short of cash I am looking for something that is offered for free.

My system is very slow now booting up and I think that reinstalling XP will be best with a complete reformat, "but" I need the information off of that missing partition, so "please" offer any suggestions to help.

    TY in advance
