    I purchased a new laptop and i cant remember the pass word. it access through the fingerprint reader but i need to find out how to get my forgotten password.

    can i use the same computer that the password is forgotten. (the finger print access is still functional and working

    I am not sure what you are running into, but you can reset the Administrator password using Trinity Rescue Kit. Burn the iso and then boot.
