Lost Power When Installing SP2

    I was installing SP2 on my girlfriends laptop when the power went out halfway through. Now when it boots it comes up ntfs.sys missing or corrupt. She doesn't have a floppy drive or cd-rom so i can't use a windows xp boot disk or CD. I have a usb hard drive i downloaded sp2 to and tried that with no success. Any ideas?
