ive got the new ati drivers,my mobo new drivers.
ive even tried old ati drivers

    my system is as follows:

ive been looking around an average score for the 9800pro is bettween 17k and 18k
i have the card all the way to performance,
ive had the card up in the 17's before, but that was onna different motherboard Abit IC7-G
but that one stopped working so i had to use this one for now until my new abit one comes in

if anyone knows whats wrong,i'd be very grateful for some help

Try to improve the performance of your system by doing Disk defragmentation, increasing Virtual Page Memory, disabling background programs running at Windows start-up. If you have S.M.A.R.T. enable, then disable it in BIOS Menu. If you have Anti-virus running, then disable it.

Once you did all that, I bet your benchmark will go up another 2000 more. ;)

I don't like using the Third-Party Driver. Anyway, you need to enable Fast-write in BIOS Menu.

    Click on [Start].
    Click on [Runn....]
    Type "MSCONFIG"

System Configuration Utility will show the list of process running in Start-up. Uncheck Startup Items you won't want'em to load at Windows Start-up.
