MAC and IP of external modems

    Is there any way that i can find out the mac address or the ip address of my external modem ? What is the command that i can use ?
    My modem can either be conected using LAN or USB .
    Hope someone can answer this question.

    It would be on the device itself on the label.

    Some External Modem might have an Interface that allows log in, most of them Do not offer such a capacity.

    See the manual of your specific modem.
