Mac Doesn't Play Nice With *1* Website

Hey everyone,

this time I am seeking help for a dear friend of mine.
She owns a Mac which recently updated to Sierra, and now she is unable to access *1* specific website. It's a online sim-game we both play (that is how we became friends, not that it matters, but friendship is priceless; especially in this modern world ).

As said, after the update to Sierra the website has become inaccessible to her.
I tried the basic troubleshooting with her:
OS up to date? Yes.
Security program up to date? Yes.
Are the drivers up to date? Yes.
Browser(s) up to date? Yes.
Clearing cache / cookies and history of the browser? Done.
Problem persists.

Sadly, that is as far as my limited knowledge about Macs goes, so I am hoping anyone here, could be of help to us. Well, to her, but I relay it to her ^_^

The browsers are Safari, Chrome and another one I forgot the name of... they're all up to date, cleaned out and still bugging as heck :S

 

Sorry about the delay. I just dragged out my Macbook and it opens fine for me in Safari and Chrome.

 

to my thinking... your computer is fine, your browsers are fine.
if the entire internet works except for one website, then that one website does things differently, and you would have to contact that website administrator and explain the problem to them, and hopefully they can help resolve the issue. and make sure to mention that the entire internet works except for their site. my only suggestion would be to try the opera browser with that website. i've got 5 different browsers on my mac, mainly because of situations like this. despite standards, i like to be able to have a 3rd / 4th / 5th opinion on any website that is causing problems. if opera works with it, it's easier than trying to figure out why the other ones don't work.
