mac or pc?

Well by the end of the summer I am buying a new notebook, SO, I was wonderin what would be the best bang for my buck the next two years or so. I need to run iTunes, movies, a word proccesor and of course internet. I would like to be able to play WOW on it and have it be somewhere in a decent price range. In WOW, graphics arent a big a deal, just decent frame rates. I just hoping some of you guys could give some pointers in the way to go. Im have a gateway notebook right now, but its reallly really bad, and I am curious about mac's. So any links would be great. Also I dont want to spend more than 2 grand and prefferably in the 1000 to 1500 range.

Mac computers and expensive and are mostly used for video editing (like making ur own movies editing them, hard core photo editing and stuff like that i would recommend a PC because it would be cheaper for the same or more performance and if you ever want to upgrade anything its easy and cheaper then a Mac, i woudlnt recommend a Mac honestly I just built my mom a decent Dell desktop computer for about $1000 dollars its a Dimenson 530s 22inch widescreen 1.8ghz Core 2 Duo (decent fast proc) 2GB ram, 32GB hard drive the video card is decent X1300 that would be fine to run wow as long as u dont max out the settings unfortyunally its impossible to like you to the computer I built buts its pretty decent
