I have no clue if this could be/might be some sort of malware or not, but my PC "seems" to be going steadily downhill.

Two different browsers now are not allowing me to access my NetFlix (streaming) account, with two different sorts of errors (??).

I "guess" Firefox is "redirecting" http://movies.netflix.com/WiHome?locale=en-US to "netflix.com/entrytrap" - Page Not Found/Does Not Exist

And IE claims I need to download/install Silverlight (even though it' was/is ON the machine). I played dumb, tried to reinstall..then unistall-reinstall...TWICE - to no avail. When it's on the machine it tells me that I can't install it because it's already installed on the machine, and if I uninstall and try to reinstall it just keeps telling me I "need" it...???

This machine is really beginning to act VERY weird...?!?

Thanks plodr but no luck, so far..

The Netflix customer-service/support person I spoke with gave me the same direction - clear browser cache and/or switch browser.

I have tried everything I know... 1. Tools>Options>Privacy>Clear history when Firefox closes...

    2. http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/clear-windows-7-cache/ . . . and

    3. Ran ccleaner . . .

Run the MS Fix it. Then try to install Silverlight again.

Sir, thank you very much for your response here, but it seems I just now "figured-it-out" (not really, but I have gotten past it).

Seems one of my (few) Add-on's, "HTTPS Everywhere" was somehow throwing a wrench into the works (complicating things).

I have disabled this Add-on and I am able to get into Netflix through Firefox.

Have not attempted IE again, yet . . .

    Thanks again to you BOTH!
