I bought 2 1GB ram sicks for my HP laptop to speed things up.
They have been working perfectly for the last 3 months, untl today when something went wrong. I pulled out the sicks and tried them indivdually they both worked individually in either slot with no problems, BUT when they are in together in any combination nothing blue screens everywhere.

Can someone explain what is going on and how to fix it. It is driving me mad.

    Many Thanks

    Sorry, only have questions ....
Does the laptop support that much (would seem so if they were working for 3 months).
    Both the exact same ram?
Have you tried contacting HP with the problem?

You could try running memtest86, although the RAM is probably fine since they work when not together.
