Or does Sony have an exclusive deal? I have heard plenty of rumors. Does anyone know what the real situation is?

    Thanks

I just found some info about this here...

I seems as though the agreement between EA and Sony is up right about now. It lasts until March 2004 which raises the question, 'What does that mean?'

'Does that mean that the new Madden will be compatile with Xboob?'
Who knows, but things are looking up.

im still a little concerned. its seems as though Madden being xbox live compatible depends upon microsoft being able to place nice with EA and let them share in some of profits from the online gaming.

i really hope microsoft grows up and learns how to share. if not it looks like i will be a sony playstation 2 owner and playing online next year at the disadvantage of playing without my native xbox controller. either way, ill see ya there.

Don't forget microsoft paid for all the servers and necessary hardware for the x-box live network. This will be sweet if Madden is on X-box live.

i doubt if xbox will allow ea to have their games online enabled on xbox....simply because xbox already has their own sport games online....which in my opinion are better then ea
