Madden 2005

i have asked this question before many times, so i am thinking that no one knows, but anways....

i want to make a team in Madden, i have made the jersey and the stadium, but i want to edit the players (change the apperince and the names and stuff)
but after i finish my team i can't find them in the Roster menu, and i can only use them when i go to play a quick game, but i can edit them in the roster.
and i was woundering how i would do this?
