    I did a registry clean up sorry I have xp pro sp3 mj worked fine till then and upgrade to sp3 now when try launch mj says mj not supported on my version detected win nt 5.0 build 2195 I hadnt noticed my pc says xp pro now dint used to Have tried all compatible modes listed

    Win NT 5.0 is Windows 2000. Why would Magic Jack think you are running W2K? Did you upgrade this computer from W2K originally?

    updates always worked for me, but if it thinks you have 2000, that might need mj support

    thanks everyone is resolved ! file in the apps folder was set to run in compatibiliy mode with w2k no ther MJ ocon was and I missed that 1 thanks again

    It sounds like he Right Clicked on the Application. It was set to compatibility mode for W2K.

    Remove that. And it worked.

    That is my best guess.
