Thanks. I'll have to remember that.

Well then how about my extensive collection of Strawberry Shortcake dolls? They don't contain magnets, right? I'd hate to have to move those too!

Now you tell me. (wonder how Halo had the link?)

BTW, it would have to be a pretty powerful magnet to do anything.

Ooooh well Errrrrmmmm ahhhhhhhhh well mmmmmmm

These ponies need to be watched as they are amassing for global domination, via magnetic disturbance of all electronic equipment... this is serious and until now been kept underground, we need to fight back :)

Well I thought maybie the best thing to do is get an aluminum foil covered football helmet and wear that to help all ......Stuff.

This just in, these helmets, that every one talks about, well the crazy ones, could actually do more harm!
    Anyhoo, the Gnome stays outside!!

There's nothing magic here. Setting anything magnetic on or right next to a standard monitor or TV set can magnetize the screen and cause deformed images and colors. Usually evident as soon as you put it there, can permanently deform the image if left too long. Monitors and TVs have degaussing circuits to help demagnetize the screens every time you turn them on (or run the degauss function manually), but too much too long can cause magnetization too strong for these circuits to eliminate.

Don't keep your ponies on top of the monitor. ;)

I will, thanks for that. You've saved a lot of people a lot of hassle. :)
