MAHOR trouble install MS Office Ultimate

I have never, ever, seen anything like this. ALL ideas are most appreciated.

Trying to install this on my Dell Optiplex 270 running Vista Basic. The install goes almost to the end, 3 times now, and towards the very end gives the same error message which is as follows:

Error 1935. An error occured during the installation of assembly componenet {97F81AF1-0E47-DC99-A01F-C8B389A1E18E}.HResult:0X80070020.

I am at my wits end with this. I have opened the case, cleaned the DVD, checked for viruses, and everything else I could think of.

No results at all. Ready to pull out what little hair I have left as the saying goes.

Any thoughts on this??

BTW: At the end of this mess, it always says rolling back and starts backwards.

I can see too that in the future I need to check my spelling. I tend to enter stuff too fast sometimes. (Just noticed Mahor instead of Major).
