Mail filter

Hello folk's
I have a problem with cr*p hitting my primary email address, this is only used to logon to the internet.....Nothing else. So unless someone has been reading my mail (They are sending me Viagra/stocks & shares/replica watches and a whole host of weird and not so wonderful things 20/30 times a day
Now my provider "Pipex" has said there may be filter available for purchase in the UK which could stop this.....Anyone know what it is ..

Is this your online account? (hotmail,yahoo...etc) or is it a paid account (funny that they would not offer free spam protection for there paying clients)

What mail program are you using (outlook,thunderbird...etc)

What is your OS (98-2000-XP--Vista)

Pipex is my provider..They told me to buyin a filter
No it's not my online address. I have other emails accounts none of which are used in conjunction with this address, so no cross-contamination there.
Outlook express is my mail user
XP is my OS
