Anyone with an NVIDIA graphics card that has World of Warcraft freezing on them and making thier computer hardlock or crash heres your fix. You need to download nTune which can be found here http://www.nvidia.com/object/ntune_5.05.47.00.html . It's a program that allows you to under/overclock your cpu and graphics card. If you underclock your graphics card and cpu moderatly World of Warcraft will run slower but you will no longer crash or hardlock. You shouldnt have to keep your system from achieving maximum performance to play this game but it is the only true solution I have found for this problem. If anyone uses this let me know how it did for you, because it worked for me and i have no problems running it anymore

You understand that WoW is not a resource intensive game and if you are overheating, underlocking is only a bandaid, not a fix?

After looking at your other post, this really isn't a solution. It sounds like you have some overheating issues and by underclocking your card, all you doing is cutting the heat output. You're handicapping you system when you should be figuring out a way to cool it better and problem solve.

im using an nvidia nforce motherboard, with a nvidia graphics card overclocked and have no issues. The isn't a fix, please dont use this method as such.

    Nobody is being negative.

This is akin to putting a smaller engine in your car because it was overheating, when your radiator needed to be replaced. Would you call that a fix?

    Same idea, larger scale.

Overcooked is right, you may have an overheating problem.

It would be a good idea to have a look through the Cooling & Modding forum, it might save you from a few problems in the future

    Good luck :)
