Major Geek Downloads Are Getting Cut Off

I keep getting a security warning in the middle of a major geek download that causes the download to stop and shows a message that forums.majorgeeks.com is trying to access my facebook permissions page.

Is there a way to get rid of that warning? Also, what do you think is causing your downloads to freeze and stop in the middle of downloading? I tried coming back to hitting the thread again and although it sometimes picks up where the download left off it keeps cutting off the download over and over again.

Something I can do to fix this problem?

Hi and Welcome to the forum

I have downloaded to test 5 software apps from the main daily list and all downloads worked fine with no Facebook permissions issues.

Now this was with the main majorgeeks.com area of the site, or are you trying to download or access a file from the "forums.majorgeeks.com" area and if so then when logging it try ticking the "remember me" box" and see if that helps.

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

What browser and version are you using?
Have you tried a different browser to see if the issue is still the same?

What download where you trying to get, please supply the URL to the thread/page so we can check.
