Major Geeks - Lonely planet?

So am I overacting or are Geeks just up em selves?
I posted a hello/ Heres a question thread (Page Turner), was suggested to move it to a different part of the forum twice - and not one reply?

As a long standing member of the original Napster forums, Im feeling a bit cold here.confused

There is just one thing you've got to understand. All the help provided here is on a voluntary basis, people help out when they have free time and we dont have all the answers. Maybe no body here knows the answer to your question.. Sorry

 

In addition to what Dyamond said, one of your postings was in the Welcome Forum which is for ....errr....welcome threads, so you won't get technical help there as much as if you post in one of the technical forums, which is why you were correctly advised to do this

 

There's a couple of guys here that have designrd web sites. The one I am thinking of isn't on line right now but i'll direct him to your thread when I see him on. And like Dyamond said, sometimes it takes a while until the right person sees your posting.
And there are no stuck up geeks here. If you stick around long enough you will find that everyone here is friendly and help as much as it is possible for them to do.

@monsta...look in your "page turner" thread. A couple people have looked and do not know what you are actually asking. Give them a little more info.

It is better to wait - until some person with the experience answers than another mis-directing you
