I have spent many, many hours with Tech Support from everyone I could think to call. At this point I believe the router itself is ok, the phone I use has always worked fine, and my cable modem is fine.
BIG problem is I am soon going to be on-call again, and without the TMobile at home plan I am in trouble since all my phone calls are now going their system into my cordless phone. Can't use the cell at home because of reception problems.

    Here are the symptoms:
I can't ever make calls or recieve calls without getting the call dropped within a few minutes. Then, I have to unplug the router, then the modem, wait a bit, then plug in the modem, then plug in the router, and wait til the light comes on the router signalling it is ready to take or make calls again.

    Router: Linksys TMobile
    Modem: Motorola Surf Modem
    Cordless Phone: 5.8 GHz Panasonic
    OS; Win Vista Ultimate
Myself: Ready to circle the planet, and stay in orbit.

    ANY ideas are greatly welcomed.:confused:mad

is this a DSL or cable setup? I'm thinking it's DSL & you are FAR from the hub, I say this due to the fact that you say your cell has no coverage. (yes I saw you said cable modem)

Good question. Yep, it is cable. The first router I got was defective, and after many hours of tech support they finally decided it was defective. Now, the new router I got three days ago, they decided it is defective too. So, now I am supposed to return it, and get my third new router.

When I installed @Home, I got no blue light on the router. After talking to a T-Mobile rep., they switched me over to Linksys. Two hours later, it was discovered the software was out-dated. and when the new version was installed, I was good to go. Too bad it took so long trying to figure that out. The Linksys tech was non-English speaking and it was a real hassle trying to converse. But, I have been up and running for a few weeks now, and so far, I'm really pleased with @Home.
