Majoreeks Home Page Problem. Clueless

I have been using MajorGeeks for years and joined today. I searched to find out a site problem and could not find any responses. Months ago when I went the the MajorGeeks the site page no longer opened to categories, but opened to 905 file pages with each page by date. Even if I delete MajorGeeks.com from my saved sites and start from scratch it still opens this way. I finally was able to save the MajorGeeks Categories.

What happened?

Is there an edit function here. I just saw my first post has an unfortunate misspelling and I need to go back and correct it. Somehow my original post posted before I could proofread it.

I have a desktop with Windows XP. My former saved webpage was MajorGeeks.com. Now, whether I click homepage or do a web search and click on MajorGeeks.com it takes me to the same place and not categories.

I just did a search with my new Chromebook and it came up with MajorGeeks.com. When I click on this the home page is like it used to be with the files/category box on the left so the problem is limited to my computer or XP.

 

Is this some kind of redirect or malware that is trying to prevent me from going to the categories page? I am currently running an Avast preboot scan to look for rootkits. Afterwards I am going to run Spybot Search and Destroy.

 

If you are using XP trying loading majorgeeks.com through google chrome or firefox to see if it's any better

 

I tried Firefox, Google Chrome, and Duckduckgo. None took me to the proper M;ajorGeeks.com categories home page.

 

I have no problem with accessing the site except all the links (MajorGeeks.com) on this thread take me to the 'files' page?
