    Hello,
Has anybody here had trouble viewing the forum with firefox 3.6? I can see the main page with no problem but when I hit the forum link all I get is a blank page except for the MajorGeeks logo in the upper left and the following in the center of the page.

I suggest the problems are on your sides chaps, Palemoon 5 (Fx 5), K-Meleon 1.7 and Fx 6 all fine here.

Same problem here, cannot view the forum using Firefox 3.6.18 (2 different computers). Only other browser installed is Internet Explorer 9 and works fine in it.

I ran ccleaner and malwarebytes and also scanned with my virgin media security for viruses and any other malware. Downloaded again Fx 5 and still nothing on the forum of majorgeeks just the title.

Uninstalled Fx 5 and tried lunascape and the same thing went back to safari 5 and works perfectly without any problems.

There is no other steps i can think of trying.

Just downloaded Firefox v5 portable and everything looks good. I guess I will have to update to 5. :cry

I think I'm going to stay with safari 5 as it works well for me.

I've just tested with the portable versions of Fx 3.6.19 and 3.0.19 and both work fine, I'll stay with my earlier suggestion ;)

ISP? Router? Profile? Gotta be something your side(s)!

Well, I just installed version 5 and everything is working okay. Not sure what was the problem. My son's computer had firefox 5 and his worked fine also. I guess I will just have to install 5 on the main computer or live with IE for Majorgeeks. What's weird was it started this morning. 3.6 was fine until I closed it out and tried MajorGeeks again.

Yeah same here but it wasn't just one browser it was quite a few of them. It was like a try and test and that's why I ended up with safari 5 as it works well with all websites.

A few weird things have been happening with MG forums very recently but not on the homepage I think. I've got this gut feeling that some tinkering with the forums went on as the layout was changed and a darker color green showing.

AFAIK the forums have a different address than the home page. so that's perhaps the reason why no problems with the homepage.

    Fx v5 & PM v5 work perfectly.

Just tried with K-Meleon 1.5.4 and I see the same thing.

With Pale Moon 5, I'm seeing the dark green background spill into what are usually light green, as Oma described.
Also, in PM, many of the links at the bottom of the page are Black on that dark green background.

The same effect in Firefox 5 except for the bottom page links which are the normal color.
The home page link is black since I started there, so it must be due to a CSS link:visited pseudo-class.

    No problem with Opera 10.50.

Could be due to some coding changes and browser compatibility / settings issues with some browsers.

I tried that with 3.6 and it still crapped out. I will try a new profile with 5 tomorrow. Thanks.

Hehe, I only get those dark green colors when not signed in, just like tgell's pic in both Fx v5 and PM v 5. Just tried both of them out.

EDIT: just tried in IE8 and same when not signed in.

Yep, if you are not logged in, the main page of the Forums is slightly jacked. Thanks oma.
