Make Changes To File Explorer's Ribbon Apply

I'm using Windows 10 Home edition.

I have a USB drive I call "Music". It contains over 200 folders. When I open the File Explorer I see a "ribbon" at the top of the list. I made changes to that ribbon that I want to apply to all folders on the drive and to all their subfolders. However, the changes I made only applied to the folders in the list and the subfolders that are one level down.

How can I make the changes apply to all the subfolders on the disk?

 

Open the USB drive in File Explorer then go to the File Menu and select the arrowed item below:


Make your changes and click Apply to all folders.

 

That only works on the folder I have opened and its subfolders.

It does not work on all the other folders on the drive (G: in this case). G: contains 26 folders, named "A", "B", "C", etc. Inside of those first level subfolders are several level two subfolders named many things. And inside many of the level two subfolders are level 3 subfolders. I need to find a way to start at the root level so I don't have to make the same changes for each level one subfolder individually.

Do you have any other suggestions?

 

My suggestion:
Right click on the drive (G) in your case
Go to Properties
Go to Customize tab
Change the template of the folders to what you want (music)
Tick apply to all subfolders and tick apply down the bottom.

Now go to the ribbon and change the View to what you want and then to Options, View and Apply to all folders and Apply at the bottom.

Open the "C" drive and apply the changes to all folders.
