I have put my stinking back out, about 3 vertabrae down from my neck. Nothing is helping. The pills make me stupider than usual (shut up).
Cold pack - not working.

I can't even blame it on swinging from the chandaliers in Tierra Del Fuego

if it turns out to be a slipped disk, and you are told you need surgery, wait for a while if you can stand the pain. this just happend to my dad, he was gonna have surgery, but decicded to wait, and viola! it got better on its own

 

Yeah I agree, you should use heat. They sell these heat pads that go on your lower and upper back and you plug them in. They also sell this thing that my mom has that you put in the microwave and put over your shoulders and that feels really good even if you dont have a bad back.

I used the cold pack and shower things on Tuesday and yesterday and last night I tried the heat. Today is somewhat better, not saying "ow" everytime I move. Can turn my head a little more today, can cross my left arm to the right (but not vice versa), I don't like to take the pills, coz I like to think. A whirlpool bath would sure be nice.
