Hi, I am forever formatting my home computer and was looking for some software to make a bootable image of my comp after I have formatted, installed windows/drivers and a select few programs so I don't have to through the hassel of downloading, installing and setting it up how I like it all the time. I thought this was possible to do but I am not 100% sure what software I am looking for if anyone can help/advise me,

    thanks in advance,

    Lukas

If you're talking about making an image on another hard drive, have a look at XXclone (download from MG available) and this thread:
    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=185911
The thread gives some info about doing this - came about because I needed to do a similar thing. XXclone (and others) gives an exact replica of your HDD.
    Hope this helps. :)
