Making A Program For Windows

A member of my family needs to make a small program for windows at her school.
She ask me if I can give her an idea about program that will be useful to have.
well I am asking you, if you have a chance to make a program, what would you do?

Sounds like what she might need is something like a small batch file (aka a "program") that will let her delete several useless files (like old logs) at once with a single click on a shortcut.
