I have several video clips of different formats and am wanting to put them on a dvd and have tried all kinds of software to do that with and nothing seems to want to pick all of the clips up to convert to the dvd format. I either need a program that will do any format or need a way to convert the files from flv to avi or flc to avi. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and any idea will be checked out. Thank you in advance.

Tell me the formats so I can see if the converting program I use will work on the types you have.

I thank you much, however those will not do what I am trying to get done. I have tried every free program I can find on here and none will add the flv or the vlc files to anything.

ConvertxtoDVD will do what you want, but it is not free. You can install it in trial mode though.

This will convert flv to avi http://www.pazera-software.com/products/vcsuite/
I use several of the Pazera programs.

No experience with flc files. Videolan (VLC) plays them so if I had any, I'd simply fire up VLC and watch them.
This paid program says it will convert to avi

vlc? didn't know it was a file extension. I'm only aware of the player.
This is what I found on .vlc
The VLC file type is primarily associated with 'ACUCOBOL-GT' by Acucorp, Inc.

Are you sure you tried DVDFlick? It seems to accept .flv files with no problem. (I just tested with a couple of flv files)

I'm also unsure about the other two formats but it couldn't hurt to try to add them in DVDFlick and see if they are accepted. Sometimes despite a particular file extension the codecs are recognized and the file will be accepted.

Yeah - DVDflick will work. I have used it to convert several different video formats at one time on a single DVD. I haven't used DVDflick in quite some time, but it works great. It's not the fastest, but it's free. The how-to guide is available at this link in many different languages. The DVDflick site also has a forum and FAQ support page should you run into any problems.

actually,i get the fastest results in the encoding process with avi. video files using DVDflick, with the mkv.format taking the longest,i recently burned 2hr's worth of fractured fairy tales(avi.)(from the rocky&Bullwinkle show)in just under 1-1/2 HR's
