Hello, newbie here. I ran the Malware Removal instructions and what do you know, it worked like a charm. Something I paid McAfee $297 to do (and they didn't) and I accomplished the feat with your help. THANKS! I'm now hooked.

One problem, however. I noticed that when I pugged in my D-Link AirPlus DWL-650+ wireless adapter the computer says "found new hardware." I don't have the installation CD, or anything else.

I still have the D-Link AirPlus Utility in startup, but nothing happens when I click it.

I guess I got rid of it somehow when cleaning the machine? Do I uninstall what is left and try to re-install from a website?

Can someone tell me how to make the adapter functional again?

Thanks for your patience and any help offered.

try uninstalling the remnants of the old drivers and downloading newer drivers from the official website.

Find the playstation driver removal tool, it'll make your job a whole lot easier.
