Hi. Today my computer froze up, and I had to force it to shut down. When I restarted it, I immediately ran malwarebytes, and it detected a bunch of sketchy folders and registry entries that were not there previously. Thank you in advance for any assistance that you can offer.

Just false detections of items from IoBit's AdvanceSystemCare. Your logs show that you had installed or modified this on 3/30
    Code:
    d-----w 0 2017-03-30 14:24:50 C:\Users\Micheal\AppData\Roaming\IObit
    d-----w 0 2017-03-30 14:24:50 C:\ProgramData\IObit
    d-----w 0 2017-03-30 14:24:50 C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit

I never installed anything called IoBit, and I am the only person who has physical access to my computer. Can you help me remove it?

IObit, the developer and publisher of Advanced SystemCare, recently found that Malwarebytes flagged Advanced SystemCare 10 as PUP/PUA and removed it without warning, resulting in hundreds of complaints from the users. So far, Malwarebytes has not provided any clear official criteria nor any communication channels. It has negatively affected the users' and IObit's legitimate rights. Today, IObit released a statement that IObit will spare no effort to protect the company and the user's rights.

Thank you, chaslang and TimW, for clearing that up for me. I was very skeptical that the events of my computer freezing, and the new Malwarebytes detections, were both completely coincidental. Thank you both for putting my mind at ease. I hope y'all are having a great weekend, and if not, I hope that it gets better.

    You're welcome.

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware but you will have to block it from scanning your Advance SystemCare folders or you will have to always remember to deselect these items before allowing it to cleanup anything.
    2. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    3. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    4. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    5. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
