Manual Registry changes

    On my friends computer, I made some changes to the registry as recommended by PC Optimize to improved their connection. The registry changes will not hold. Other registry changes changes fine.

    These same changes on my computer worked fine.

    Win XP SP2

    Did you disable anything that might be blocking registry changes i.e. spyware blockers etc.

    Yes, also some changes were okay and only some reverted.
