Hey guys I've just built my first custom pc and I'm still in a bit of a learning stage... As of now I just have the stock Intel cpu cooler and I was wondering how i can manually set the speed of that fan and possibly the other fans on my system. Thanks a bunch!

    HI

Personally I would leave the system to control the fans, especially the CPU fan as the BIOS and the chipset hardware temp sensors (including that of the CPU) monitor the temps of various areas of the PC and will adjust the fan speeds accourding to the temperatures being registered, hence why you hear the fans quiet, then go louder (when the CPU is doing a big task) and then going quieter again later.

Speedfan should give you the options you need.

Only settings I would change for fan/system speeds are in the BIOS, most have a few temp settings, like quiet, medium and full (or similar)
