Manually Remove Firefox Extensions

I've updated my Java version a few times and just noticed my Firefox extensions still list old versions of the Java Console. How do I remove these manually?

I went to my Firefox profile folder and in the extensions, etc. but the folders were either the names of my other add-ons or (many more folders) with names that just appeared to be long registry strings. I'm not sure which ones are Java Consoles 6.0.11, 6.0.13, 6.0.15, and 6.0.18. Obviously, I only need the last one so I would like to remove the older ones but can't tell them apart. Help anyone?

 

Some may not agree but what I found was easy was to use REVO to do a full uninstall, then download a fresh copy and add what you want. Hunting through unknown strings is iffy!

Shut down Firefox before running JavaRa.

Ok, I ran the removal utility and it removed update 1 and update 7 from my computer (wow, that was a while ago!) but the Java consoles are still in Firefox. Probably because I uninstalled the versions that are still there but those were left behind as Firefox extensions.

Unfortunately, that removal tool did not remove the extensions... I don't want to blindly go removing those folders listed in my extensions folder either since i have no way of knowing which folder is which.

Any other ideas? :confused

 

Scratch that... in running that removal tool the "uninstall" button in the add-on manager actually worked and they are now gone. Thanks again!
