Map-it toolbar will not go away!

I have done all the normal things to disable/uninstall the mapit toolbar but it still shows up in Internet Explorer sometimes - mostly on Facebook and the first page of my bank's web site . It doesn't work so I can't click on anything in it...it's just taking up space that I need. It does not show up under tools or anywhere I can uninstall/disable it. What do I have to do to get rid of all the remnants of this annoying toolbar?

Try searching for the file and delete it.

 

Okay, I took the advice of a guy on another forum and it fixed it I think. A tool called AdwCleaner cleaned it up. Thanks for the replies to my message.
