Need a little help here. Just installed a new computer and mapped my network drives to two other computers on my network-windows xp pro. The problem is when I re-boot the computer is does not connect to the mapped drives. As soon as I navigate to a folder in the mapped drive the computer works fine until the next re-boot. I don't want to have to navigate thru every time I re boot. Thanks in advance.

as txtazdad, mentioned (how are you going about this)? are you doing it from "my computer" (tools --> map network drive), then selecting the box "reconnect at logon"?

i used to have mine setup like that, but after a while, i got tired of it. if those other networked comps aren't on, and you turn your comp on, of course it tries to connect, and eventually you get an error message. i never figured out how to disable it. anyway, after a fresh install, i decided i wouldn't do that again. just my .02 worth. - sos
